This is truly a vintage desk...it's made of metal and wood so it's very heavy and sturdy...full of lots of charm and weathered creamy crackled paint. The chair, with the hand painted roses on the back and seat, flips up. The back of the desk has the old weathered look as well...and the ink well still opens. The corbels holding the desk top makes for a shelf below and continues to the base of the desk...this is such a cute piece!
