WOW~ this black needlepoint chair and ottoman with roses is really REALLY pretty ~ the chair has floral bouquets of roses and other stunning flowers in soft muted greans, pinks, reds, browns and beige on the seat and chair back. The overall condition of the needlepoint is in good condition; there are some areas on the chair handles that have missing material and minor pulls on the chair back ~ but it only adds to it's shabby charm and really not noticable. I do want to mention, and I did provide a picture, the top of the chair once had a wood carving that is missing ~ but, again, not real noticable and does not detract in the least from the chair's beauty. It measures 23 inches wide (handle to handle) by 20 inches deep by 37 inches tall. The matching ottoman is stunning as well ~same colors and floral arrangement in the middle with roses. The top of the ottoman has hinges which allows the lid to pull up so you can use it for storage. It measures 15 inches wide by 18 inches long by 9 inches high. The wood appears to be a walnut and has a few areas ~mostly on the ottoman~ of minor scratching! Overall this chair and ottoman set is a beauty and really hard for me to let go~ you will not be disappointed!
